Dolloway Dancers have been established in Hereford for 30 years now. Cindy Dolloway (Watts) Is founder and Owner of the dance school. Cindy started dancing at age 5 , her nan and parents took her along to a dance class because she lacked confidence . Cindy wasn't good at sport as she grew and was bullied at school so she used dance as a way to help. Dance helped her through tough times and helped her believe in herself. She loved it and attended many classes each week , she took exams and did some competitions and gained medals with good grades.  Later on she realised how much it had helped her mental health as well as physical health and when she was 23 she qualified as a teacher. She trained in freestyle and Latin and ballroom but can teach most styles and she enjoys all dance. 

 

She started off with one class and took them to every event to promote and give the dancers something to aim for .Now 30 years on some of those children are bringing their own children to class. 

 

Dolloway Dancers is a no pressure dance school that allows children and adults to learn freely , no shouting , no strict protocol , just dancing and learning various dances together , laughing and enjoying the moments and softly building confidence together.

 

Our dances are disco , pop , some ballroom and Latin , contemporary, dances from shows, musicals films and more we like to change things up and go with what they are enjoying . We use props too like ribbons,  Pom poms , hats, canes , Maracas and have great fun making things sensory too. 

 

We have classes for ages 4 to adult and we also teach children and adults with learning disabilities at various places.. we teach in schools as part of P.E and have various workshops for occasions such as Christmas or Diwali. Whatever your idea we can teach the style you would like and bring fun to your venue.

 

We teach at weddings , hen nights , birthdays too . Various styles including line dance, disco , Charleston Latin and much more..

 

We also have display groups that dance at events.

 

You can try a class usually straight away and there are no expensive termly fees to find in one go. We charge monthly and you can renew each month. The first few weeks are charged weekly until you are sure. 

 

Parents are permitted to stay at classes in the extra area and watch through the glass if needed. And we are always on hand to bring you in if your child is unsettled.  

 

All our staff are DBS checked, First aid trained and qualified .
